And so I have to ask what the heck is a true self, maybe a baby that has yet to learn a thing, behaviorally they would be pure and untouched by the things of man, except those things they have come by genetically. But for what purpose do you wish to unshackle yourself from the things of man? Is it magic you seek? Or maybe it is novelty?
I have a friend who say that god put that desire in all of us, so we would seek him out in our attempt to return home. My mom told me long ago that that desire to return home is what keeps mankind restless. Then she said that desire to return home can never be realized on this rock, because we are not from here.
