Scientists studying ice cores in Greenland announced that they had found the exact year the last Ice Age ended. They had discovered a period approximately 12,000 years ago, in a two year period the surface temperature rose 40 degrees. Proving that the last Ice Age ended abruptly.
During the last Ice Age the oceans were 60 feet lower than they are now. What ever catastrophe caused this change in temperature the oceans rose 60 feet literally over night. Today 90% of the population lives within 5 miles of an ocean and most of them would be affected by such a catastrophe. During the last Ice Age I am sure it was the same and when oceans rose 60 feet it must have appeared as a flood. To find ancient civilizations one must be looking at the 60 foot depth of the oceans.
The most plausible theory as to why Ice Ages appear to come on a schedule has been put force by Milutin Milanković he believed the little tilt cycles within the large tilt caused enough variation in the amount of sun the northern hemisphere would receive and that would trigger an Ice Age.
My question is, why do they start slow and end catastrophically. Well it takes many years for 60 feet of ocean to evaporate and refreeze on land; simple. But why do they end catastrophically? That answer can be partially found in India, where they built a very large dam. The weight of all that water started earthquakes in a place that had none before. The weight of that dam is nothing compared to a sheet of ice 1000 feet thick. So Ice Ages must be accompanied by massive seduction earthquakes. But that still does not explain the catastrophe that will bring an ice age to end overnight. It can not be Volcanoes or a meteor hit or even earthquakes. It has to be predictable and on a schedule. No it is not the tilt either, that would be a slow melt. In the description given by Utnaphistan ( Noah ) in the Epic of Gilgamesh, he states it starts as a massive storm. Could it be that somehow a sunspot melts lots of the ice creating massive storm clouds that washed all away? And the sudden release of all that weight washing down stream would again trigger earthquakes. Disasters are like long lost friends, they like doing things together.
Okinawa during the last Ice Age was half the size of California and a warm cozy climate, before it was flooded.Yonaguni Island appears to have a Pyramid also; all found at the 60 foot depth.
Dwaraka the ancient home of Krishna, has also been found off the eat coast of India at the 60 foot depth.
Probably the most intriguing ruins are Puma Punku at 12000 feet in the Andes in Bolivia.
