Alchemy

Because the way by the Mercurial principle may be impregnated has been thought fit to be concealed by others that have known it, and therefore may possibly be an inlet to something more noble that is not to be communicated without immense damage to the world if there be any verity in Hermetic writers. There are other things besides the transmutation of metals which none but they understand.

Twenty years ago that was an Arizona farmer that claimed he has discovered the secret of the Philosophers Stone. Every link I could find tells the Disneyland version of Alchemy. They were not trying to make noble elements from base metals, they were making a white substance from gold. Dave Hudson called the substance ORMES (Orbitally Rearranged Monoatomic Elementals).
This is the substance that was referred to as Soma in Vedic literature, the Drink of the Gods, imparting immortality on the consumer. In an earlier Sumerian work The Epic of Gilgamesh, a substance is given to Noah that gives him immortality. Which is misunderstood, for Noah only lives to a little over 600 years. Many of the Old Testament patriarchs were said to have lived extraordinarily long lives, yet none lived forever. In other places in the Bible it is refereed to as the Bread of Life or the Tree of life. Even the new Testament has an almost occult like reference to it, that sounds more like an Occult Channeling than religious text. In Revelations, "To he that have an ear, let him hear what the spirit says unto the churches. To he that over-commeth  will I give to eat of a white stone in which a new name shall be found, saving only he who recievith it.", with paragraphs following it referencing the Tree of Life.
It is said that the stone perfected the functioning of our body allowing up to a one thousand year life span. One has to ask why would someone want to live one thousand years in this world.

Dave Hudson said that the consumption of this white powder allowed our DNA to split many more times than it currently does. He also reported viewing the orbital patters has turned elliptical and could be forced in and out of alignment.

The 2009 Nobel prize for Physiology was given to Elizabeth H. Blackburn, Carol W. Greider and Jack W. Szostak, jointly for research on Telomeres, a substance on the end of DNA strands. Telomerase studies have found in studies that they may be able to extend human life up to one thousand years.  Have we rediscovered a secret know long ago in Alchemy?

Why would you want to live one thousand years if everyone you ever knew was dead. Seems it would be awful lonely. Yet if they lived one thousand years along with you, it might not be lonely but this rock would get very crowded quickly if we all lived that long. We have enough environmental problems with the number of people we have now doing what people will always do, use resources.

Is this one of those archetypal ideals burred deep down in our subconscious that drives emotions to crave something one has not thought thoroughly through? This gives me an opportunity to open the door to self-observation the key stone of self-actualization. For it is in observing consequences that one discovers the ability to feel your way into the future.
